Jillian's 60 Day Body Shred

Is anyone doing the Jillian Michaels's 60 Day Body Shred? My fiancé and I are going into the fifth week tomorrow. It has been brutal and I'm wondering what we got ourselves into. I can see my muscles forming and it's incredible, but I'm worried that I'm not ready to move on to the next step tomorrow. I have 33 pounds to get to my goal weight of 132. I've lost only 4-5 pounds doing the first 4 weeks. Maybe because I'm building more muscle? I'd love to hear from other people going through this madness!

4–5 lbs in 4 weeks is actually a very good rate of loss so well done! It's extremely unlikely you're building muscle on a deficit unless you'd start out heavy lifting (which Jillian Michael's programmes aren't). The muscle definition you're seeing is more likely due to losing the layer of fat covering up your muscles. Actually building muscle is very hard work, especially for us women, and generally requires a calorie surplus.
Summary: You're doing great!0 -
It's definitely not heavy lifting. I only use 5 pound weights with the workouts. She does a lot of things in plank. She really enjoys the plank. My shoulder are showing so much definition, perhaps from supporting this 165 pounds every. Single. Day. Thank you for the input!0

I think I only ended up losing around 10 lbs with it. However, it really made me feel confident! I mean, a year ago...I wouldn't have survived a week! I've since started running and decided to start T25 again. I only have about 20lbs to go! Keep at it for sure! You'll feel like a rock star!0

10lbs for 60 days jibes with my Jillian experience. I lost about 5 pounds on 30 Day Shred, but a couple inches all over! I looked great! Gotta do that again...0

Yes! The inches are better than the lbs! Are you still doing well with it? That cardio one whooped me!0
