Not really. I have it with stevia and a little lowfat milk. I log it because of the milk, but other than that I pay no attention. It does count towards water consumption if you keep track of that.

I drink it black and count it as part of my fluid intake (if you add cream and sugar, make sure to log it. It really adds up). Then again, my blood type is coffee.

I log the milk and sugar I put in it. I don't log fluid intake so see no reason to log the coffee itself.

Coffee and tea are both my weaknesses. I used creamer and stevia so I log it every cup!

Since coffee (and caffeinated sodas) are diuretics, I don't count them towards my water consumption.

This might be off topic, but I would love to know what MFP considers as fluid/water intake. My one nursing class was learning calculating input and output a few weeks ago, and jello/milkshakes/foods that are liquid at room temperature apparently count as input.

Yeah I'd tend to agree...fruits, etc all contain water too. It's why a lot of us don't buy into the "you have to drink x glasses of water per day" myth. Yes of course you need plenty of water, but it doesn't mean you have to drink it all straight

And as to the op...coffee (black) isn't significant enough to count to me ( less than 5 calories). But if you're adding creamer or sugar then I would count that. And if coffee is wrong I don't want to be right

    measure your creamer
1 oz of coffee mate = 148 calories, 9 grams of fat
(many people pour a lot more than they think)

For the powdered, yes. But one ounce of powdered coffee mate is almost 5 tbsp. That would indeed be a lot.

It depends what you put in the coffee. If you drink it black, it's pretty close to zero calories and probably not worth stressing over. I drink mine with a bit of lowfat milk, and I always log the milk 'cause it adds up. If you add lots of cream and sugar, it can be a pretty calorie-dense beverage.

I don't count the calories for the coffee itself. I do count them for the milk that I put in it.

I log the almond milk and tablespoon of creamer I add to it. I do not count it toward my ounces of water for the day. Not sure which question you are asking.

I log the creamer, not the coffee :) I could drink it black, but Pumpkin Pie creamer is delicious :)

Life is not worth living if I can not have at least 4 cups of black coffee each day. I drink water with my meals and I have decaf tea come late afternoon and evening. I gave up the cream and sugar when I started logging calories. Coffee is so much better when it is strong and black.

I usually don't log coffee or tea. I drink both straight up. Sometimes I'll add some honey to either one of those if I have a sore throat or have something vocally intensive to do that day, but I'll log the honey. I used to count it as water, but I stopped logging water.
