Hello all! I just joined a gym again and I am heading in tonight after work. I wanted to know if any of you have any special routines you do at the gym? I have two months to tone up and shed fat before my wedding. I know 2 months is not a long time but I want to get some tips and suggestions on what is working for you. I also want to loose my saddlebags and tone up my butt and thighs. I have no trainer or no gym buddy so it will be me myself and I at the gym!

I'm right there with you! However I'm getting married in February but have to get my dress fitted in January so I have 2 months to get to where I want to be. I work with a trainer twice a week, in between I do cardio and whatever exercises he tells me to do. Weighted kettleball squats and walking lunges etc.... the weighted squats and lunges make my legs really sore so they must be working! Might work for you too good luck!0

Whenever I go to the gym, I do a mix of 30 min cardio, 30 min strength. The stairclimber is fab for that and the bikes, also treadmill too.
Get your playlist ready to keep yourself motivated, thats what I do.
And look online at some strength training gym routines and youll be fine
If your gym has a group class room not in use, alot of magic can happen in there that you can do functional movements on a mat in there with. I find some great stuff to use at Pinterest.0 -
A calorie deficit is going to make a much more noticeable difference in such a short time frame than strength training, unfortunately.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't work out, but keep in mind that it's fat loss that makes muscles look "toned" (having a small enough amount of fat over the muscles so that they are visible), so if that's your goal, you need to make sure you're eating less than you're burning.
Strength training will help you maintain the lean mass (muscle) that you already have as you lose weight, but it's not going to swap the fat in a given area for muscle.0
