Yesterday I woke up & had tea.. Then fasted the whole day & for dinner had chipotle.. THE BURRITO WAS AROUND 1,300 calories ! (Crazy)
Am I the only that that does this? Fast & then have a good meal that I'll enjoy actually enjoy? I was planning to only do that on holidays.. But this seems to work out.. Rather then eat healthy small meals... Eat something that I love/crave

That is perfectly fine. Do what works for you. there are no hard and steadfast rules. If this works for you. Great. You want to enjoy your food so if this is his you do it. Yum!0

I've done it a couple of times.0

I've seen other people post that they do this. If it works for you and them, great!
I would feel sick while fasting and a different kind of sick after eating 1,300 calories in a shot, so I will stick with the many small meals that work for me.
I love Chipotles and would divide a 1,300 calorie burrito into 2 or 3 servings and eat it slowly to savor it.0 -
No, I've done this many times. There will be days when I wake up, don't eat lunch, then have like an 1800 calorie dinner around 4:00. It's pretty amazing actually.
I think you're unknowingly participating in Intermittent Fasting(IF). It's basically a way of eating where you fast for the majority of the day (16 hours including sleep), and you fit all of your calories for the day into an 8 hour window.0 -

Divide a burrito? That's absolute blasphemy. If you start a burrito, you finish a burrito, no excuses0 -
Lol right ! I don't share my food0

I do this. Went to Olive Garden the other day and made sure I saved all my calories for it! Sometimes I eat one meal, sometimes I eat several smaller meals in a short time period.0

I've done it a few time, but not on purpose.0

If you're on board with the macro breakdown of a 1300 calorie burrito, it should be fine.0

I've seen other people post that they eat one meal a day, so you're not alone, for sure.
I couldn't do it. The waiting would be too much and the eating of 1300 calories at once...I'd be uncomfortably full when I was done. But if it works for you, yay!0 -

Lol my partner is forever calling me a quitter for leaving food on my plate. I let him know Im perfectly happy because I am not a quitter, Im a LOSER ha! In his face!
And honestly what you do is fine, as long as it fits YOUR goals. People with different plans arent wrong just have a different goal in mind. The past few days I have found I really don't NEED breakfast. I was forcing myself to eat by 9/9:30 but I maybe feel one pang around 11 but can make it to lunch just fine!
If you're not doing this regularly Im sure you'll be fine. More so the eating chipotle, not fasting until dinner! Im sure you dont though haha. I recommend taking a multivitamin if youre not eating a variety of foods. I take one and I eat two meals a day but I am just sure there are gaps somewhere. Just as a precaution. But yes as I am learning more and more each day: Calories in, Calories out. Nothing else has any significance on losing weight.0 -

I fast before lunch all the time. Sometimes I carry until dinner, but occasionally I need a small snack.0 -
I do this quite often, especially if i know i'm going to eat out at dinner.0
