Women who enjoyed 15 to 45 alcoholic beverages per month were about 33 percent more likely to exercise vigorously than teetotalers. Scientists say sippers may hit the gym harder to compensate.

This is good news for a 22 year old like me, who drinking is part of the general socialization. Woo.

    If you are compensating though you aren't gaining anything, you are just attempting to cancel stuff out. I'd rather be tee total and still exercise.

    I wonder if drunken dancing for several hours has anything to do with my fitness levels ;)

    I did lots of cardio last night just so I could have a beer in the shower. Was so worth it. If I didn't really want that last beer I wouldn't have done the cardio, so there is some truth in there.
