I have a long way to go and would like to lose more than 2 pounds per week. Is anyone losing more
than 2 pounds per week??

    It takes 3,500 calories less each week to drop a pound. This equates to 500 calories less each day for the most part.

    You may initially lose a fast few pounds but it is usually recommended that you lose 1 pound each week.

    Because you have a long way to go, you may consistently drop weight at a faster rate but, at some point, you will probably lose 1 lb. a week on average.

    Think of it as marathon versus a sprint. It takes a while to put weight on and it takes a while to get it off.

    It's all about the math!
