Needing That Extra Support

A few years ago I lost over 40lbs and I was so proud and I kept it off. Then I spent a year doing more physical activity then I ever had. I was in the best shape I had ever been in and I felt motivated to want to do more. It was going great!
It was at this time I started having problems walking and it turned out I had a hole in my foot and needed surgery to correct the problem. It has been a year since the pain started and I can finally walk normally again after having surgery 6 months ago. But in the process of this past year I have gained back almost all of the weight I had lost before and I'm in terrible shape.
I want to get back into shape again and be even better than before but it is hard to be motivated. I figured maybe by asking for that extra help it would be what I needed to kick start my weight loss journey.

Hi red, the very first part of your post sounded exactly like my journey except I didn't gain back weight because of an injury I simply fell off track. I've recently started logging and tracking my calories again and I believe being active on these forums also helps. Glad you are recovered and getting back on track and knowing how good you felt at your goal weight will be a great motivator to get you back on track. Let me know how I can support you on this journey.

If you did it once you can absolutely do it again!
