UP2 Calorie Adjustment Question

Hi all

I was using a Fitbit Flex until recently (I got fed up with the band breaking), and it seemed to work well with MFP. However, I just got an UP2 and I am very confused.

I have set my activity level to sedentary, even though I am moderately active in my job (I'm a teacher and walk around all day). I assumed that I should do this so that my steps could be counted by the UP and extra calories added accordingly.

The thing is, my normal calorie allowance is 1460, and even after walking 11,000 steps, my Up Calorie Adjustment remains at 0. Should I not be getting some extra calories for walking 4 miles? This can't be considered normal for a sedentary person?

I'm confused, and concerned that I'm under-eating...

Yep - some, but not many. Walking burns very little. I would think you might get 150.....

Did you sync the Jawbone to your mfp through the jawbone app not just through mfp? Mine was doing that too until i found i needed to sync it through the tracking app and now it's adjusting my calories.
