Hello! I am trying to get rid of the antidepressant unexpected weight gain. I have worked out like crazy but continued to gain weight so now I am going to start in the kitchen and maintain the workout. Any suggestions on what to do are welcome! Cheers!

I gained a lot of weight on Viibryd. Too bad, because it was an effective anti-depressant. Now my shrink has me on a stimulant, usually used for ADHD, but prescribed off-label for depression, and it actually reduces my appetite. It's called Vyvanse and is similar to ritalin, adderall, etc. You might ask your doctor about it. They will ask you about possible ADHD symptoms so play those up if you catch my meaning.

Ok! Has it been helping and are you still able to work out OK being that it's a stimulant?0
