Ahi Tuna (Yellowfin, tuna steaks)

Anyone have any yummy recipes for tuna steaks? I picked some up all excited... butttt I jumped the gun and I'm not sure what to do with them lol

    Are they shashimi grade? If so, they are great rare/medium rare. One of my favorite ways to cook them is to combine sherry, lime juce and soy sauce. Salt and pepper the steaks and quick sear them in some olive oil. Take them out and put the sherry, lime juice and soy sauce into the hot pan and boil it for approximately 3-4 minutes or until it reduces. Pour that over the steaks. It's really yummy!

    I do it simple, lightly oil both sides of the steaks, sprinkle salt and pepper on each....and sear it on both sides (2 to 3 minutes). Once done, then I use a wasabi sauce that I got at the store to add to the top of them..
