Hi guys.
Looking to jump back in tomorrow - just got off bedrest from a minor surgery. Last year, I stopped weighing myself when I reached 257. I'm 5' 6". I am now 216. I would like to end up somewhere in the ball park of 150-160. Looking for people to encourage me and get me going!

You can add me if you want I weigh 246, but last time I faithfully used MFP I got down to 179 so I know it works! Depressed that I let myself gain all that weight back (and then some). I'm 5'6" and my goal weight is 150. I likely won't get down to 200 by Christmas, so my goal is 220. We can do it!!0

Hello I am looking for friends that are around my height and weight to help me ( each other ) stay motivated. I am currently down to 217.4. I am 7 weeks post partum and the day I had my daughter I weighed 240. My ultimate goal is 145 but my goal right this moment it to get to 200 by Christmas. And then 180 by March.
I'm just getting started with MFP journey today. I'm 5'6", 220 lbs., 51 years young with 2 daughters; 21 & 13. My long term goal is 145. I'd love to "drop" my weight, but am committed to remaining healthy! With that in mind, I'd say my short term goal is a 10% weight loss by March 1. I'd appreciate a friend to journey with because I haven't been successful in becoming healthy on my own.0 -

I hope to lose whatever I can through the holidays. My 30th wedding anniversary is in March 2016 so I would like to drop 20 pounds (or more) by St. Patrick's Day. Long term I plan to reach goal weight by Dec 2016. These are not aggressive goals, average 4-5 pounds per month. I know there will be set backs and plateaus. I am trying to be realistic so I do not get discouraged. With the support of great people on MFP I will be successful.

Hi. Im 5"6 after i had my daughter last july i was 245.6. I started my weight liss journey this year in february. Im down to 205 weight has stalled, i keep goin between 200-206. Cause use more friends that are on the same page0

Well, I've completed 7 days of becoming healthier and have found this app to be quick & easy to use and quite motivational. I love to see the crown when I close my journal at night and enjoy reading your posts. I'm still learning to navigate my way around the app during the few minutes a day I'm able to spare. I estimated my starting weight and haven't weighed in yet, but my clothes are loosening at the waist so I must have lost an inch or two there. I haven't begun exercising either but will add that soon. I hope each of you have a terrific week and can't wait to read your posts.0

I've got about 40 lbs to lose..in similar situation. I have neuropathy so the meds I take make it SO difficult to lose! Would love to chat with others who share similar struggles!0

I am 5'7" started at 222lbs September 1st and am down to 206 lbs by using MFP and a Fitbit flex. They have really worked for me so far. My Short term goal is to be under 200LBS by Christmas and my longterm Goal weight is 160 LBS. That may change when I get there but I just remember being so much happier with my body when I was that weight.0

Hi I am 5 7 and 218-220 had been in the same weight from last few weeks. My final goals are also same to reach 150. Right now i just want to go under 200. I trying to move around a lot and make 5k steps daily only started eating cleaner in the last few days. But its difficult . I Hope i can see some changes soon0
