Today was the worst I went to the school health clinic and found out I am 173lbs. I'm 5'5" (short) and am overweighted. I don't even know how to start losing the weight

Losing weight is eating less &/or moving more. You simply take in less calories than required to maintain your current weight. If you choose to move more, that's great. Active people expend more calories during the day.0 -

Rather than the scales get a tape measure, it's a much better way of judging how much you've lost, don't get obsessed with weight if you start exercising your fat will more than likely turn into muscle and muscle and fat weigh exactly the same pound for pound
