So far so good. Started at 285 pounds. Light exercise about 4 days a week. Eating lots of veggies, wheat breads and pasta, fish and chicken very little red meat,

    sounds like you're losing in a sensible way… that is all it takes.. Nice to see someone losing without a strict plan that couldn't be maintained for the long haul. Best of luck to you as you continue.

    This is great - congrats! I'm starting off around where you were (283 last week). A few questions, if you don't mind:

    How many calories were you eating on a day to day basis?
    How tall are you?
    What kind of light exercise were you doing? Walking? Elliptical? Weights?
