I've cut my carbs down to less than 30 (on average) a day and it was working great for me. I also keep my calories around 1,100 and now it seems I'm stuck! I got bored of eating salads....are there any other low carb foods I'm not aware of?

Absolutely! Unless you're a vegetarian (I'm not, and honestly dont know much about it). There are LOTS of low carb options. Meats, cheeses, nuts, oils. All (mostly) low carb. Remember, when you don't eat enough carbs, your body burns fat for fuel so don't try to go low carb and low fat at the same time.

I am insulin resistant, so I've lived low carb for years. Feel free to friend me, my diary is viewable by all my friends! :flowerforyou:

I know it's called ketosis. I was in it at one point, and I ruined it in one day. Also, I wasnt losing weight after a while....I hit a stall.

Try eating more. 1100 is kind of low, even though I see you're a shortie like me at 4'10. Thats a great way to break through stalls, at least in my experience. Also, vary up your workouts! Incorporate strength training. The closer you get to your goal, the more difficult it is to find that weight loss 'sweet spot'.

    Just dont get discouraged.

I'll definetly try to change things up. The I was never much of an eater...I started gaining weight when I got an office job instead of hostessing at a restuarant....great pay but other things started growing besides my wallet hahaha!
