I'm Overweight! Yay!!

Options
After losing almost 45 lbs, for the first time in over 10 years I'm not obese according to BMI calculators! Barely squeaked by with 29.9 on the BMI scale, but I'll take it. Think I need to celebrate somehow today.

Real talk: celebrate at only one meal if you're using food as your reward.

But what I really came here to say was: good job!

Oh, happy day! Congrats on your great achievement. For me, when I dropped out of obese (I started at Class III morbid obese,) it was second only to Onederland in satisfaction.

That's funny, as reaching a simple "overweight" is my current goal. I started at 250# in July and am now bouncing up and down at 220#, so that's good. To be "overweight", however, I need to get down under 208#. To reach "normal" I would need to get down to 174#; a daunting prospect, indeed. One day at a time; 'eh?

Awesome job! When I went from obese to overweight I celebrated with a new pair of shoes. I started at 35.5% in February and am now 26.02%. So close to normal I can taste it!

Congrats! That is a wonderful accomplishment! I'm getting close; another 5-6 lbs and I can ditch the obese category.

Same here!!! I started with a BMI just over 40 (!), and it's now a 29.8. I still have a ways to go, but I *completely* know where you're coming from. CONGRATULATIONS!!
