What is your favorite healthy lunch? I need some new ideas. Please help me. : )

    microwaved salmon from single pouch with mrs. dash
    + fresh fruit and cheese stick
    or
    +frozen green giant vegetable + fresh fruit

    sanhwhiches with carrot sticks on the side.
    I like chicken salad and tuna salad the best. You can get creative trying different breads,toasting the breads adding spinach,tomato ,onion,etc and even adding curry powder to the chicken salad.

    tuna preped how I would eat it on bread but, put it on top of lettuce...add all kinds of veggies..I like adding craisins and pepperchinis!!

    Homemade hummus with pita bread and fresh fruit.
    OR: for max protein, make a tuna melt using whole wheat bread, 1-2 slices of fat free cheese, and one of those packets of tuna in water. Just slap it right on the sandwich between the cheese :D

    Tilapia tacos with black bean salsa-thing

    1/2 cup black beans
    1/4 diced red bell pepper
    1/4 cup diced onion
    1/2 diced roma tomato
    tossed with garlic, black pepper, cumin, chili powder and Tapatio

    Put this on top of a tilapia fillet and wrap in foil, bake for 20 at 425

    2 corn tortillas and you're golden.

    Turkey veggie sandwich or wrap

    1 whole wheat wrap or 2 slice whole wheat bread
    2 oz turkey
    1 tbsp hummus (my fav is roasted garlic)
    1/4 avocado
    1/2 cup baby spinach
    1 oz alfalfa sprouts

    YUM!!!!! This is my favorite lunch and I like to have it with half a sweet potato ... total calories for the meal is under 400 if you use light bread or use a tortilla instead of 2 slices of bread!
