New to site

I just started today. I read about this site in a magazine. I have tried tons of diets and I never follow through!! I loose about 12lbs and then I resort back to my old eatting habits! Hope to WIN this time. I am starting with a new motivation. Good luck to everyone. This is by far no where near easy, but if we all support each other it can be done!!:smile:

  • Welcome to MFP! This hasn't been another diet for me- this is a lifestyle change, beginning with finding what motivates you and what will work for you not just in losing weight, but something you can continue ONCE YOU'VE REACHED YOUR GOAL(s).

    Gather lots of supportive people, and be willing to learn from those who can guide you ( and for me, once in a while I need someone to kick my butt in gear and not come to my pity party).

    Keeping track of EVERYTHING I put in my mouth ( including the over-indulgences) has, believe it or not, HELPED.
    Each day is a new start if you fall ( and we all have)

    Been on this journey for about 10 weeks, and I'm glad you're on the road to a healthier YOU.
