Hi I am 53 years old with lots of chronic pain issues. Had a hysterectomy last November and have gone from 145 to 160. Mostly in my caboose. Bwith winter coming I do not want to gain even more weight. No gyms nearby anbd couldn't afford a membership anyway. I just want to get back to 145 to 150 range

Lookup a good calisthenics routine and set a schedule. That way you can do it in the comfort of your own hme and whenever you want. When it gets to easy, get some small dumbells to add to the routine.
