Any other friends out there trying to beat compulsive eating? And alcohol abuse? I am day 4 sober. Still going strong. I am eating healthier to. I have problems with impulses and control. Still keeping faith tho!

Good work on the 4 days. Day 5 is better and day 6 better still... One day at a time. It's all you can do, and all you have to do.

I used to be addicted to hard drugs. The kind that make you stay awake for days at a time and never eat. Then when I cleaned up (15 months ago) I realised I loved food and just having something good in my mouth knowing I'm about to feel stuffed and sleepy and happy and all that. I got up to 360 lbs. Now I'm just through with being uncomfortable all the time and don't want to live another second wasting time not trying to improve myself (in more aspects than one). The best guidance is from yourself, and the best motivation is looking towards the future.
