Hi!
I'm Julianna. My starting weight is 160, and it's the heaviest I've ever been. My goal weight is 125 because I have a pretty small frame and I'm 5'5".
I want/need to lose weight a) to be healthy and b) because I'm getting married next September. I can't handle the idea of having the pictures we look back on be of me at my heaviest and unhappiest on what is supposed to be the happiest day of my life.
I've tried and failed about a thousand times to do this, and I know what I need to do, it's just so hard. I feel overwhelmed and stressed and scared of failure.
Do you have any advice to get started and to keep going? I'm looking for any support I can get.
Thanks!

People twice your weight did it....it can be done. You have given yourself enough time to do it safely, smartly so that it will not be a 'diet'.

Read around the forums and take advice because people here have succeeded and know what it takes.

Counting calories is pretty easy to do, and you have the freedom to eat whatever you want, just being mindful of a daily allowance. Pretty soon it will be automatic.

If you want to add me, feel free. Good luck.

Its very doable and u have a very good time frame to get it done right . Add friends for good morale support. U can add me if youd like. Im glad to help and support and offer advise.

If your just starting out with the app i highly suggest just taking the first week or so to get use to using the app and making it a habit. Also when you setup your profile start out with 1/2lb weight loss per week to get use to it. You can always change it later. If u set it to high it may cut your calories to much setting u up for failure and getting disgusted.

So start logging and stay within your calories at first then start cleaning up your eating as u ge use to logging.
