Hi ladies!

I was wondering if any of you had any issues with extreme cravings/hunger during TOM? If so, how do you deal with it? I always feel like I'm hungry during TOM, even if I've just eaten, and I don't know how to control it. Help me!

Thanks!

Yes, that is a VERY common thing. Nothing new...everyone has their own little tactic for dealing with it.

Water, water, and more water to help with between meal cravings
Will power (not the most helpful one)
Healthy substitutes for cravings (chocolate-my fav is chocolate rice cakes-not the same, but not half bad)
Exercise to occupy time and "buy" extra cals to use

You can always fill up on good things like veggies, protein shakes, some meats, salads with no/low fat dressing...

Sorry. Thats all I got. Hang in there.

I'm having the same problem!! It seems as if my food is disappearing as I am eating it. I am trying to add as much protein as possible and limit the carbs and fat. I'm hoping it will help so I don't blow what I lost the week before!!

I'd love to know how to control it... Mine is just beginning and for the past several days, no matter what I eat, it doesn't make me feel satisfied. I just want more, more more of everything! UGHHH!! 2 days ago I polished off almost an entire bag of Brookside Dark Chocolate Covered Pomegranates! I was so mad at myself but it was like I couldn't stop! And I usually have very good will power. All I can say is that is SUCKS big time to be female. >:-(

What i did was try to exercise a bit more just walking really added to my usual stuff. That way i can eat more. :) It was bad for me the first 2 days but everything felt normal after that.

I'm just beginning to realize that no matter what I eat, it won't be "enough" during that time of the month. So I try to just remember that and think about it before I reach for anything.

That's a good way to think about things....I'm just going PMS now and it's killing me. I'm chewing on whole carrots like a bunny to keep myself occupied. :)
