Sugar

Hi can anyone tell me if I should worry about sugar in fruits. I am trying to stay at 25 grams or less. However I cannot do this if I'm eating 2 fruits a day. Any suggestions

Do you have a medical reason to limit your sugar intake?

Only if you have a medical reason to watch your sugar intake

There's a pretty good FAQ about sugar here: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10197460/sugar-faq-june-2015

It might help to answer some of your questions.

Unless you have a medical reason to moderate your carbs, there is no reason to limit your sugar from fruit. There will be some who tell you that you should, I respectfully suggest that you ignore such advice. If you are restricting your calories, the sugar will not "turn into fat."

I don't think you need to worry about it, but if you want to stay at 25g or less then you may need to.

No more than 1 fruit per day.
