HRM in garden?

Stupid question that I can't find an answer to in searches: How do you wear a HRM while gardening without getting it dirty (the watch part)? Thanks!

    I would either wear a long sleeve shirt or put the watch in my pocket as long as the HRM is one with a chest strap.

    Same here... long sleeve shirt or putting it in a pocket since I have a chest strap.
