I have a Garmin Vivosmart and really wanted to use it to monitor my calories in/expended but it doesn't show any calorie offset in MFP against calories in. I have selected garmin as my step app..
Any suggestions - am I doing something wrong?

Synchronise your Garmin account and MFP account and it should be fine.

If you aren't getting more steps than your "activity level" you won't get an adjustment. Are you sure you're doing enough activity to earn extra calories? If not, I suppose allowing negative adjustments would serve to show that the apps and devices are sync'd.0
