I don't know if anyone else has tried this video lately, but if you are looking to change up your fitness routines I highly recommend it. In the past I've had a trainer which I loved but have decided to take a break and try some things on my own. Now I am doing a 20 minute workout in the morning plus walking and cardio in the evening. I'm almost at my goal weight/size and want to tone up and get rid of the flab. I hope this works.
Any other suggestions on how to get more from my workouts?

I just started it last night, after my 20 min treadmill time, and it kicked my butt. But I loved it! I'm paying for it today, but I know I just have to keep pushing through it. I know that it's really going to help tone me up where other things aren't. I can't wait to see some results!0

I am on day 7 today. While I believe it is good in the short amount of time, I still feel I need more. I plan to do Slim in 6 again after these 30 days. That program really worked for me after the birth of my third child. Now it is time to take off the baby weight again for the last time.0

I love it too!!!
I started on Tuesday, did a coupleof days, then have had a monstrous TOM, so had to take the last couple of days off!!
I'M MISSING IT ALREADY!!!
Yup it really kicks my butt, for sure!! I'm happy witht ha though!! It needs to be kicked! lol!

Today is my day 8 of 30 day! I love it! Im hoping to do it 7 days a week ....10 days on each of the levels. I also fast walk between 1.5 and 2.5 miles a day0

I have LOVED this workout. I have gotten a little bored with it after a year and half though :laugh: . I've switched to her Ripped in 30. It's even more intense! So when you're done, there's a good one to move on to!0

I am on day 20 of the 30DS and althugh my diet has been far from perfect I am still seeing great results. I am actually extending it to 42 days because I wanted six straight weeks of working out before changing to a new program. I think after this I will try the Jillian slimdown (see above). Then...who knows what...back to slim in 6?0

I love it!!!!!!! I also tried her yoga meltdown...yikes. I'm going to save that for later. It has a lot of upper body stuff and I just didn't make it. I'm only on week one of the 30 day shred. I am thinking about trying her ab dvd after I've finished the 30 day shred. Gotta mix it up, but so far I love her dvds!0

I'm doing a really tough bootcamp in the park 3xs a week where I'm burning 700 - 1000 calories per work out but I wanted to up my chances of losing weight so now I'm convinced I should add 30 DS to the mix.

i love the 30 day shred. i immediately noticed results in my midsection. i have all jillian dvd's and i rotate them. one different one each day plus a good run on my treadmill.
here are some other jillian dvd's that work:
No More Trouble Zones (mostly strength training)
Banish Fat Boost Metabolism (cardio)
Shred it with weights (kettlebell workout)
yoga meltdown (strength training)
30 day shred (circuit training: abs, cardio, strength)

I really like this DVD.It is quick and gets me sweating fast!I am on Day 4 level 1 and I fast walk pushing a stroller and I am burning about 400+ calories doing both!0

Crystalinda - 30 Day Shred and 30 Day Slim Down are two separate things. Although slim down includes the 30 day shred video in the rotation. So 30 Day Shred you're supposed to do that video for 30 days, 10 days for each of the three levels. Then Slim Down includes other Jillian Michael's videos (Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism, No More Trouble Zones, and 30 Day Shred) in a rotation also for 30 days. I have done part of the 30 Day program before but not the slim down yet. I am going to be starting 30 Day Shred tomorrow actually. And I plan to do the Slim Down after that. But there's a whole group on SparkPeople and lots of people do the slim down after the 30 day shred and seem to really like it.0 -
The 30 day slim down sounds tough but fun! Just restarted 30 day shred yesterday ( never able to finish it) so hopefully this time will be the time I do the entire 30 days, then maybe I will try the slim down.0

I had to knock 30DS on the head for a few days while my horrendous TOM put me into bed for a few days!!! It was miserable tbh, but I'm off to see my Doc on Tuesday and hoping he'll agree that its time tried something other than the pill, cos obv my body just doesn't like them anymores!!
I've soooooo been missing shred, but am being very strict with myself and not allowing myself to go back to soon!!!
Hows everyone else getting on? Especially peeps who are doing the 'slimdown', would love to see befor/ during/ after pics if possible???

This must be the 5th time I'm doing 30DS but I've never reached the end, I'm on day 6 of level one and have included spinning 5 days a week too - trying to stay positive and not give up so I can see the end of level 3!0
