So I only started running 4 months ago and this morning I did my first competitive 10k and despite winds and rain my time was 69 mins and 10 secs - so pleased with that, my target was under 70 mins so I smashed it! That's all really, only came on for a bit of a gloat!

Congratulations! And, as my sister pointed out when I ran my first 10K: A 10K is almost half of a half marathon. (Took me a minute to parse that, the first time I saw it.)0

Any fitness first can be really motivating. I'd imagine even better if you just recently started running. Congrats!0
