I just found this website and it's absolutely fascinating.... http://www.mybodygallery.com/index.html
You can browse pictures of women at the height and weight specified. It really highlights how we all carry our weight differently!

Don't know how I feel about this website. I plugged in my height and weight (5'4", 130 lbs) to look at the pictures and was kinda of shocked to see how much bigger some of these women are. I plugged in the 120 lbs and felt that those pics more represented what my body looks like now, even some of the 110 lbs women looked larger than what I had thought. It makes me ask alot of questions. Am I picturing myself thinner than I actually am? Is my perception that scewed? Were these women lying? Was the camera angle (someone taller taking the picture making a downward angle isn't body friendly) making them look bigger? I am pretty top-heavy so that could be an explanation. Maybe I have more muscle mass? Don't know, but am a little disconcerted about going to the lake this afternoon in my bikini :frown:0

I don't think your perception is skewed... we just all look a little different. I don't exactly look like any of the women in my height and weight range either. I'm very bottom heavy but with a smaller waist. I wear a smaller size top than most of them as well. Try narrowing your search with the body type parameters on the left hand side (mine is pear) and see if you get more accurate results.0 -
thanks for this. i had a look and all the women at my weight (well there were only 5) look way smaller than me.0
