Adrenal Fatigue

My doctor believes I have adrenal fatigue. I was on topical corticosteroids for about ten years, which we believe is the cause. I have been off the steroids for over a year now. We will be doing labs at the end of the month, but I'm ready to start helping my adrenals NOW. Any advice?

Follow your doctor's advice? Best thing you could do. If you feel insecure about that... see a specialist and follow their advice. Seriously, though... they will be most qualified to give you advice... not internet forum goers. Listening to some of the advice I see on here would be very bad for you. Trust your doctor.

No, she is an excellent doctor. It is a matter of waiting for insurance to kick in. :/
I'm not one to blindly listen to whatever is thrown at me, but I would like to hear from others who have or have had the same thing.
    Sorry, I should have clarified.

I assume she means adrenal insufficiency as adrenal fatigue doesn't exist

Start researching Adaptogens, such as Holy Basil & Rhodiola. Take twice a day (morn & nite).

Adrenal insufficiency sucks. I just spent the past 8 months healing from it (I worked with a naturopath to do so). You must place emphasis on less stress,
Good sleep, and quality adrenal supplements (glandulars). It's possible. Stay strong.
