Pondering about low-carbers and everything in moderation type posters

Not that it matters at all, and I do believe that everybody has the right to show what they want to show but ...
why do most of the prolific pro low-carb posters not have an avatar that shows how successful their WOE is but most of the prolific in moderation posters do
Or am I missing something?

That's a bloody good point! Except I'm not a low carb person and I have this avatar atm, but I do have a couple of me at the gym. It depends on my mood lol.0

pffft, I'm on an all kale diet and have an avatar... it's not real though. Shhh, don't tell anyone.

Personally, I can't keep track of which posters eat a certain way, so I can't comment on lack of profile pics for low-carbers. However, I'm low-carb and I have a profile pic. I know this WOE works for ME, but I don't endorse it to others. There have been a handful of threads that ask if cravings go away after going low carb and in my case they have, so I've shared that occasionally.0

I'm a moderation type, that basically knows what certian food does (as in satisfying me, or making me hungrier). And I prefer not to post a pic on here. Plus, my belly doesn't look like yours, Rabbit. No one wants to see that...0

low-carb since 2009...but I know what you mean0

My avatar is Diva, who is on a high protein/low carb diet :-P

No idea. One group likes to show off success more than the other? I doubt that is it.
It could be that some low carbers are coming from a place of poorer health and don't want to show off their skin as much. Extra skin?
I think the most likely thing is that low carbers don't post on the main boards. They stick to the low carb groups where there is more support for topics and fewer off topic responses.
In the low carber group, many people have an avatar with a picture. I would guess that most do.0 -

It's great to see successful low carber avs0

I think you are missing something.....Never even noticed.0

Maybe low carb posters tend more towards liking their privacy? I don't know.
I'm pro-moderation, but I won't post a picture of myself even if I do eventually achieve my ideal. I've already had to deal with a couple of quasi-stalkers in real life. I'm pretty damn sure it was never my looks that attracted them, but still. Once bitten and all that.0 -
