Hey MFP community, Not wanting no sympathy or anything, but I have tried this program several times, the very 1st time I followed I lost 8 lbs and no exercise that week. I was excited, but since then I fell off a couple times. I live alone, no support and just can't get with it again to be consistent, can't figure what's wrong with my brain to become motivated again, somebody got suggestions?

You need to figure out your "why". Your one compelling reason why you must do this. Mine is my family. Add me and I'll cheer you on!0

Hey! I feel the same way and although I don't live alone, I sometimes feel alone in this journey. People who haven't been overweight in their life don't understand the struggles we face trying to lose our weight!! If you've failed more than once (like me), you start thinking down about yourself and considering yourself a failure everytime you have a slip up. The important thing to remember is if you do have an occassional cheat meal or day not to just throw in the towel the next day but to get straight back on that healthy horse and be strong!! I have been told that 100000 times before and I know it's easier to say than to do but just ask yourself this...where do you want to be in a years time?? Because the time is still going to pass whether you want it to or not but it's up to you to make the year count for something! Do you want to be disappointed in yourself in a years time looking back wishing you had just stuck to it or do you want to be proud of yourself and your accomplishments and be able to live your life to the fullest??? I know which one I want! And I'm going to make sure it happens this time. I've cleaned out the fridge and the pantry and I'm ready to go!
Also what someone said above, figure out exactly why you want to lose weight and why it's important to you? Write a big list of all the reasons why and stick it on your fridge. It can be any reason big or small...for example some of mine are: concerns for my health, hate what I look like in a bikini or naked, can never find anything to wear because nothing looks good, can't touch my toes, can't cross my legs, hate feeling self conscious around other people, sick of being embarrassed and ashamed of how I look......so they are some of mine and although some are really small and might seem silly, they are still the little things that bug me and they will keep me motivated to achieve my goals! Give it a go
Add me if you want support and motivation0
