11 weeks and 45 pounds gone!
Start 255 (4/16/2011)
Current 209.5 (6/11/2011)
And almost half-way to my ultimate goal!
I know I am faaaaaaaaar from perfect but seeing the change likes this is so motivating!
*Check out how my super sexy Big Girl Panties now come half-way up to my boobs!
My husband is DYING for me to get some new ones! (panties, that is!)
OK, here I am- then and now. Eeek- I'm very proud but extremely embarrased all at the same time. Alright, I'm gonna do it.
i think i can....
I Think I Can....
I THINK I CAN!.....
BAM! :blushing:
ETA:
Since several have asked what I've been doing, I decided to just add it to this OP. It is honestly, just major calorie reduction- as in I only eat when I'm hungry and even then it is just enough to get rid of the hunger. Basically, it is like snacking all day! I dont ever eat meal-sized portions right now. Some would say it isnt healthy to lose so fast, I am seeing my doctor regularly and they also agree that when you have 100+ to lose it is actually ok to initiate with a really low cal diet for a while as long as the cals you do consume are nutritious. I knew in order for me to stick with it, I needed to see fast results, know what i mean? When I lose about 10 more pounds ( which will get me to one-derland) then I plan on getting back to a more normal meal regimen and will be ok with a slower weight loss at that point. I'll be the first to admit that I couldn't maintain this kind of eating long-term but I believe that done with balanced nutrition in mind, this is both safe and very effective for the short term. Hope that helps!

Thanks so much everybody! I added to the end of my original post a little bit about what I've done. There is no secret. Calories in versus calories burned. That's it! If you have over a 100 to lose, you can drop rapidly for a while, too. I went for a physical 3.5 months ago and my blood sugar was borderline for pre-diabetes and my cholesterol was borderline as well. I had been feeling VERY down about my weight and seeing those numbers made me decide it was time for a change. Up until then I had been fat, but had always had normal physicals. It was starting to catch up with me and I said, "Uh-uh No Way!"0
