hello based on my calorie count I just need to eat 1200 calories and that's what I did. I kept on exercising and eating 1200caloriws for almost 6 months and now keep on changing my goals from 1700, 1500, 1350 and now currently at 1560 because I have lost the energy and motivation to workout anymore. I'm afraid to gain we right but it's hard for me to get back again at 1200cal pls help

If your underweight why don't you want to gain some? Also were you eating back your work out calories? You should be. If your not wanting to lose weight then 1200 calories is why to low. If your wanting to maintain your current weight then you should be eating a lot more. So what exactly do you want to do? And are you underweight as your title states?

Yes I'm underweight at 155cm 80lbs or 81lbs. I'm pretty sedentary though I love walking a lot. I lost the energy as well to workout so I stopped working out since May. But rigidly working out thrice a week and eating at 1200 calories last year. I just want to maintain my weight coz I'm happy with it. I'm afraid that if I increase calories at sedentary state il gain weight.

Now I'm eating at 1500 calories

You have a BMI of 15. The question you want to ask yourself is "do I want to live or not?".
Get off the internet and call your dr. ASAP.
You are suffering from an eating disorder and it is to the point where your health is in great risk. You need a medical team to support you and you need this now. Any exercise at this point puts your life at risk, and so does continuing to eat this little.
I understand it is hard to deal with this, it is not just a matter of saying "wow, I better start eating 3000 calories from now on". If you have any relatives or close friends nearby, call them, and seek help. You need to talk to a dr. Today.
    Good luck.

Your thread title and posts make no sense. The title says you're underweight, which implies you need to gain. Your posts say you want to maintain.

How old are you? Do you see a doctor regularly?

You really need to speak to a Doctor.

    To be clear:
    • You do not need to lose weight or maintain. You need to gain 15lbs.
    • The way you describe your issue, as most posters have said, suggest you need to see a doctor immediately. It can be dangerous to gain weight too quickly and the concerns you have are best discussed with a doctor, not with casual people on any forum.

Insufficient data. Need weight and age for better calculation. Add percent bodyfat for exact numbers.

Yes A lot people are saying I need to gain some weight but I'm afraid to increase my calories. I used to eat at 1700 calories but still have midnight binges and so I decided to lower my calorie intake once again to end up sleepless nights and middle of the night cravings for crunchy foods but sadly to say I'm still doing it:(

You are afraid, because you are seriously ill. You need help and you need it immediately. If it were that easy, and you could just up your calories because people are telling you to, eating disorders would be just a harmless innocent problem. You cannot see it, because it is now happening to you. Please find someone you trust and who cares for you in real life and seek support. You think the problem is "binges". The problem is that you are doing damage to your health that might be irreversible or even life threatening by eating so little. Please seek help.

The fact that you are underweight and scared to gain should be a huge red flag to yourself. Please read here: https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1575987-eating-disorder-resources

The binges aren't going to get better by lowering your calories, they'll just get worse.
