I went from 220+ to 144lb. It was a slow process, but I am okay with that. I ate healthy, strength trained and added cardio such as HIIT, Tabata as well as running when I can. You can do this!! ☺

Not quite, but I went from 268 to 145. I cant post pictures from work, but you can see my profile pic. You can do this, just remember, once you lose it it is a life time change. I remind myself of this every day.0

I've gone from 230 to 158 but trying to go further and get to 125
No progress pics0 -
I went from 220 to 145, in my late 40's. I'm 5'10". Being in the 140's (even 150's!) wasn't a goal I could even contemplate in the beginning. I thought maybe, if I'm lucky and work really really diligently, given my age, I'd drop maybe 40 pounds over the course of a year or 1.5 years.
I met that goal after 4 months. Kept going. After I reached about 145-147, I maintained that for 2-3 years. At age 52 I started incorporating progressive weight lifting, and went back up ("bulked" on purpose to gain muscle mass) to about 155. Worked over this past summer to lose 5 pounds while maintaining my muscles.
Now I'm at about 150 and OK with that. Pics of the initial weight loss (no pics yet of post-weight training!) here:

Pardon the dressing room picture, but I still can't trust my eyes to tell me if something looks good, even after 16 months of maintenance. Pictures help me, so I always take pictures when trying on clothes in the store.
Wow. Awesome job!0 -

I went from 220 (when baby no.2 was 8 weeks old) to 154lbs. I'm currently 168lbs (I'm on the left in my profile pic) as I had another baby and I'm just losing the last bit after pregnancy no. 3, which is proving quite hard lol.
This is me at my thinnest, 154lbs (I'm 5'6)

And just after I had baby no. 2

And this was Halloween at 168lbs (now age 38 with 3 kids, age 6, 4 and 18 months).

Thank you for all the posts! Each one is amazing and so inspiring and motivating. I'm 5'6 and those numbers are almost exactly mine (hi=244 in June, 220-230's last few years), so thank you all for sharing and helping me keep faith that i WILL do this!0

Not quite, but pretty close!
Here I am at 220+ (not too sure, I probably lost some before my first "official" weigh in)
And me today at 159.6 (yes, shameless gym selfie)
Here's a comparison between my pants then and now. The bottom pair are a 16 plus from Old Navy (so probably closer to a 20) and the top ones are an 8 from Levi (a tiny bit bigger than my other 8's, but not as big as my 10's)
My advice is to find something you love doing and keep at it. I love being active because I don't force myself to do activities that I absolutely hate, I do anything that I find at least tolerable.0 -
wow you've all done fantastic, I am still half way through my journey.0

Here I am at around 245 - 248. Not sure - I may even have been over 250 at this particular point in time. I had scale avoidance issues. I look even worse to myself because my dog is just a half grown pup here, but now she weighs nearly 90 lbs. LOL
Here I am when I weighed 199. Not too long ago. Unfortunately, I stopped logging my food and I started drinking 3 - 4 glasses of wine a night. This would not have been a problem if I had been paying attention to my calorie intake and had enough calories for the wine - but I thought that by riding my bike a couple times a week, I would be fine. NO...I gained weight back, so no I'm working my butt off, literally, to get to THIS point again. Then I want to lose another 40-50 lbs after THAT! LOL Stupid, stupid, stupid of me to stop logging my food. And being a bit too loose with the wine! LOL
It only took me a few months to get from Point A to Point B the first time - I should probably be back at Point B again by March. Lesson: we all have ups and downs, and when we fall down, we need to get back up again.
