So after a really rough day at work, i came home to some really bad mail- there was a problem with my 2006 taxes (nice to find this out a year later)! To make it better I could not get in touch with my accountant to make them fix this problem. That is when I gave in- a double cheeseburger, medium fry, and 10 piece nugget (comfort food). I finished 450 calories over last night:( I feel like such a cow

Baahhh, don't worry about it. Remember what I always say, 1 day can never de-rail you. If you allow this to become the norm then your in trouble. Just hop right back on the healthy eating track and you should be fine. 450 cals is 30 minutes of vigorous exercise. Just add 5 minutes to your regular workout for the next couple of days and it will be like it never happened!
We all do it StartingNew! Just imagine how I felt after comming back from my cruise last week. I didn't even bother counting calories because I couldn't get the nutrition info from the ship. But I'm sure it was mega ugly.0 -
I am seeing a nutrotionist every week right now and she has been teaching us how to have low caloriedays after something like this happens. Not to do it all the time but just when you need to....and many of you will be needing to do that ths after Super Bowl at the weekend I guess.
She has suggested I have 1, 400 a day so these calorie days are low for me.
Here is a sample menu she gave us which includes her recommended 5 fruit and veg:
Yoghurt 110
Banana 100
Cereal 80
Turkey Sandwhich 250
100 cal pkt 100
Apple 75
Baked potato 180
Steamed brocoli
Spray no calorie I Cant Beleiev Its Not Butter/Salsa 15
Smart Pop Jettle Corn (mini Bag) 100
TOTAL CALORIES 1050
Slim Fast Optima 180
Banana 100
Lean Cuisine 280
Carrots 40
100 cal pkt 100
Salad with 3 oz chicken and fat free dressing 275
Whole grain crackers 120
Skinny Cow
TOTAL CALORIES 1235

it happens to all of us that is why you start with a new day and get back at it.!! i know how you feel but if you can fight your fear of food you can do anything. i have to tell myself you dont need this its not good for you! i might taste good for the 10 min it takes me to eat it but its how i feel after i eat that. i feel terrible i have not had a cheat day in the 4 months i have been on my diet that i went over my calories. im not perfect but i know that the healthy things didnt make me fat the unhealthy t hings did. but your strong and you will make better choices today..hang in there girl !:flowerforyou:0

Hey, don't beat yourself up - it happens to everyone! When I do something like that (often), I find the sooner I get over it and get on with being healthly, the better. THere are always ups and downs and we learn so much from the downs!
