Hello fitness world! I'm a new member effectively today. I found this site haphazardly while looking for issues with my newly purchased Fitbit. I was very pleased with my results and relieved. The issues that I started to experience became very discouraging and alarming for me. I was very happen with the app and the Fitbit in the beginning, but with a week I started to experience an annoying continuous alarming aching feeling in my wrist on my non dominant arm. Of course I assessed the tightness of the watch and its placement on my wrist. The watch wasn't to tight so it wasn't pinching a nerve or impending my blood flow. I figured I never sleep with anything on my wrist so maybe it was the way I slept, switched the watch to the dominant arm, but I purposely didn't sleep with it. The same symptoms I was experiencing on my left wrist started with 36 hours on my right. Like I said earlier discouragement is an understatement due to the vast hype towards this watch. The only thing I think about now is the possibility of having long term problems with my wrist. I'm going to monitor this particular issue for further recommendations from the company. Thank you once again.

Did you see a doctor regarding this issue?

I remember my first month with the tracker was a little strange. I was afraid I was one of those few people who had a reaction developing.. kept wearing it regardless. Personally it helped me to loosen it an extra one notch before bed because I find I swell a little at night plus sleep in countless positions. Hopefully it's nothing serious and will sort itself out. Please update if the company responds..
