I still don't feel 100% comfortable just saying this, but in 2 days (June 13th), it will have been exactly one year since I decided to change my life. So far, I have lost a total of 191lbs (I have 9 more to go until I reach my newest goal of 160lbs). After that, I plan on learning how to maintain and become a little less obsessive about what I'm eating and I can't wait (but I'm also kind of nervous)!
Congrats to everyone's success on here and good luck to all of you on achieving your goals- you can do it!

You have done an amazing job and should be so proud of yourself. It is a very long and hard journey to make...I know...I'm still on mine. Got to my goal weight about a year ago, and then depression set in. I got on meds for it, but all they did was cause me to gain about 60 lbs and feel horrible about myself. So I'm no longer on them and I work out and run almost every day.
Keep up the good work and try not to be afraid. You will continue to do fine.0 -

What a tremendous achievement, but the next quest has begun...keep everything in perspective and ease into your maintenance. Change your MFP goals and STILL follow a plan (just add a little more calories each (no binges, no unhealthy atmospheres) and a little less required calories burned each day - 5 less minutes of cardio or come down 1 or 2 on resistance settings).
I am looking at the same modifications in my life and today, you know what? Today I did not even hit the gym. Feels good to take a day off, but I have already scheduled tomorrow's food and exercise, because this is my new life! Never going back to 275+!
