Is the calories set by the app after I put in my goal and weight loss per week include the calorie deficit? Today is the first time I have actually hit my daily calorie intake.

Yes. It includes your deficit. It is based on your normal daily activity not including exercise.0

Yes but it does not factor in exercise - so log your exercise and the general rule is to eat back half of them.0

Eat half of what? I feel like I need to run now that I have splurged tonight lol0

Eat back half of what MFP tells you that you burned during exercise
Not everyone choses this. I personally never eat back any.0 -

It is NOT splurging to eat your calorie goal. It's your goal. It's what you should be eating. Deficit is built in.
In addition, if you exercise, log that in MFP and eat back about half of the extra calories MFP gives you for that exercise. So you'll be eating over your original calorie goal, but under your total calorie (base calories plus exercise calories) goal.0
