Hi my name is Stephanie, it's my first time using this discussion board. I just gave birth to a wonderful baby boy and would just love to lose the baby fat. I know that it's going to take a long time but I'm more than willing to do so. I currently weigh 192 lbs and want to go down to 135 lbs atleast. Please feel free to add me.

Welcome! Congrats on becoming a mom :) Give your body sometime post-birth to adjust, but you can start with eating healthy and go from there. If you are breastfeeding then you'll need to account for the extra burn you achieve due to that (you'll get to eat a bit more, yay!).

Lol thank you :) it's hard for me to have patience. I've never been this much before. The only thing that I feel good about myself is that I started doing some cardio exercises. But I don't know if I should keep doing cardio until I lose the excess water weight or if I should start using weights.

To lose my baby weight, I do the Bikini Body Mommy challenge workouts on YouTube. The challenges are 90 days each (3 days cardio, 3 days strength training per week), and I think there are 4 or 5 out right now. I'm in the third week of the second challenge. I didn't really start focusing on losing weight until my baby girl was 9 months old. She is now 15 months old, and I only have 2 pounds to go until I'm back at my pre-pregnancy weight. I was already overweight to begin with (CW: 197), so I still have a ways to go. But, good luck! Feel free to add me as a friend. I would like to get down to 145 lbs.
