Trying to lose weight cause of medication

Being on medication isn't bad enough, but having the side effect of massive weight gain is even worse!!!! I recently was put on a medication that made me gain over 40lbs in less than 2mths. I am coming off it and am determined to get the unwanted weight off. My goal is to lose 40lbs. I would love some people in the same situation for support!

I gained 50# in a matter of 3-4 months b/c of meds I was on for a while. Got stretch marks, the whole bit. It is disheartening. Thankfully, I am no longer on the medication, but the weight is still here. I know it's very depressing!
I'm doing a ketogenic diet right now. I'm 3 weeks in. Not sure if you'd want to do it but so far I am seeing results. Tough to start, but I think I have the hang of it now. It's Low Carb and High Fat. Do some research and see if it interests you.Good luck
