A change in your skin

I don't know if it is just me, but, I have noticed a change in my skin since changing my eating habits. My skin is not as oily, and I am having a lot less breakout. I have also started using Arbonne again, but I really think the change is from diet. I don't feel that I have to wear foundation like I did before. Have you noticed a change?/

Since I cut sugar, white flour, and fried from my diet, I seem to glow more. I haven't worn make-up in years, but recently two different people thought I was 12-16 years younger than I am.0

that is great.:flowerforyou: I hope I look younger too.0

My skin has definitely improved since I cut most the sugar out of my diet - my skin is so clear, even though it's my 'time of the month' when I usually get a breakout. ANOTHER reason to stick with the healthy eating!0

OH YEAH! I have noticed and here is why!
Not being a Dr, this is all from things that I have read.
First off our skin is a book cover to our overall health.
How you are doing on the inside is shown clearly with how your skin looks on the outside.
Have you noticed that when you feel sick people can TELL? This is because it shows on your skin.
Second. Skin LOVES WATER! I mean LOVES water. With our healthy diets we eat fruit and veggies that contain water, and drink the 8 glasses or more a day. Did you know that wrinkles is one sign that you do not have enough water in you?
third. Omaga 3 fatty acids & Protien: Fish Oils, Olive Oils, Great for the skin, great for the bones great for the heart, great for all around health. When we cut out the bad oils, a lot of us added, Fish and Chicken to our diets, we got rid of veggie oils and Sat Fat. and added good oils Like Olive oils to cook with. Again when you are taking in the right amount of these your skin will glow. :smooched:
Again you are right, the healthier we eat the better we look ALL AROUND!!!

Yes! I noticed my skin is smoother, has better texture, and I have a rosy glow!
It is nice to see a result of all the hard work!!0 -
I'm having the opposite effect at the moment. I hope it's just my body flushing everything out cuz this is BAD!
Also relating to skin, but not pimples.....if I lost 6 pounds this week I know I didn't lose the skin that was surrounding it....Is this too fast? Am I gonna get saggy? I'm working out and everything, but I don't know if it's enough to keep up with the loss.0 -

You should be fine! The pace of your weight loss will even out and your body will catch up.
If you end up having any problems like that, it won't be until you lose a lot more.
Just spend time in the gym toning.0 -
Yes! I had to use Accutane to cure my Acne (had it since I was 10), but, my skin is less oily and smoother when eating healthfully. Also, when I eat crap I have a severe black-circles-under-my-eyes problem, and when I eat right, my shiners go away promptly!
What about hair? Mine is shinier and grows faster when eating right. Same with my fingernails.0 -
i definatly notice alot more flexiblity in my skin now that i'm drinking ALL my Water daily...if i pinch the top of my wrist it bonces back sooo quickly.....i also heard that more elasticilly will help my skin adjust to a smaller me later!!!!!! that's great!0
