    I just started a protein based diet. Not anything strict but just totally different from what I m used to. No potatoes no pasta no bread and no rice for me....for at least three weeks

    Good luck m on day 2 and feels like weeks. And i get hungry really quickly.

    This week I had good days and a couple where I really strggled, but I did a good job staying close to my calorie goals and was under for the week. I also met my goals for exercise and have improved my speed in the 5k by several minutes.

    My plan was to enter a 5k race on Thanksgiving but the weather is supposed to be really bad that day, snow and extreme cold, so I may have to have my own turkey trot at home on my treadmill.

    I am going to weigh myself now because I know I will gain for thanksgiving! But I stayed the same. Went to the football game this past Sunday so I knew I was going to cheat for sure; I gained and got back on track and weighed the same when it was time for weigh-in! But after Thanksgiving I will be back and track and looking to reach my goal weight in the last 4 weeks! Good luck everyone and have a great Thanksgiving

    Lost .6kg this week, which I'm quite surprised by as I had a pretty bumpy week, food-wise. Feeling good that I haven't let a couple of bad days totally throw me off course.

    LAST WEEK: My plan was to enter a 5k race on Thanksgiving but the weather is supposed to be really bad.....

    THIS WEEK: The high temp was 16 on Thanksgiving and it was snowing all day so I was not able to do the race. I did go for a very slippery 5 mile walk with my husband yesterday and I only have to do 2 more days of 5 miles walks/jogs to meet my goal of 30 miles per week for the month of November.

    I think it's ok to just jump in. If you have a record of your weight back to the beginning, fill them in. If you are just starting, set a goal for December 25th and get going. No time like the present!
