peanut butter or almond butter

I eat mostly organic and healthy foods, but I tried the natures promise peanutbutter and I didnt like it. Most peanutbutters have hydrogenated oils, which I stay away from and just recently I found that palm oil is unheathy for you, and that is in the current peanutbutter i eat, so I wanted to switch. I saw in a recent post that someone said that almond butter was better than peanutbutter and I want to try it, but the organic one is $10.99, so I wanted to ask everyone just how good it is.

you can get peanut butter with no additives. The stuff I have has only peanuts nothing else, not as sweet as regular peanut butter, but I just add a half a banana to my bread or eat it with fruit etc. Havent been able to bring myself to spend the extra for almond butter0

Almond butter is incredible, I like it much more than peanut butter. I think it is somewhat milder, but still lots of nice nutty taste. Definitely worth a try.
BTW, cashew butter is truly decadent - but I don't think as healthy..
good luck.. jb0 -
