You have 3 options.
1) Guess the weight and use a random turkey entry in the database.
2) Guess but use the quick add calories option which won't show macros
3) Say screw it. And either enter a large number of quick add calories for the whole day or don't log today.
I use option 3 on national holidays/parties. I try and eat reasonably in moderate portions while still enjoying the treats and not stressing about it. There is no way to know how someone else prepared a dish. Does it have butter or olive oil or ? So don't sweat it. A handful of days a year will not do irreparable harm.
Enjoy the company because there are more important things to worry about than the minutia of logging.0 -
Eyeball it?
I mean, Thanksgiving isn't exactly the best time for accuracy. Just guess. Eat it and enjoy it.0 -
Also I take a very small sample of each dish to try it and decide what I really wish to eat/ what is worth the calories then I take a regular portion.
No point in eating a dish that is bland just because it is there.
