Hello MFP,
I' am a girl who does NOT EAT TURKEY meat nor do I eat any kind of sea food. So this means it's hard for me to find healthy meat that I wont get tired of eating to eat for dinner, like boneless chicken (blah). Does anyone have any suggestion on what I can eat/make for dinner with meat that has not to have to do with turkey/sea food?

Pork, lean beef, wild game if you can find it.

How about chicken sausage? They have all kinds of flavors at Trader Joes, I love them!

Today I took chicken breast, put it in the crockpot with a package of taco seasoning and a jar of salsa. Cooked for a few hours, then shredded it with a fork. Meat for my salads all week, and SO good!

I still eat Hamburger I just buy the 93/7 and then it has about the same calories and such as Turkey. We eat a lot of pork too.

how about some turkey stuffed with fish?
  • When I get bored of chicken I treat myself to a little bit of bacon with it. It feels really luxurious when you're dieting and doesn't add TOO many calories, all things considered.

A chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich is my favourite post-workout treat :)

Most any meat is fine as long as you stay within your daily calorie goal. Some meat is more calorie dense than others meaning that some meat you can eat more of and get the same calorie hit.

Any meat you want as long as it's lean.........I still have rump steak maybe twice a week.

I still eat all kinds of meat - pork chops, pork tenderloin, steak, ground sirloin, chicken, bacon, etc.. There are lots of cuts of meat that are very lean. And in moderation, even fattier cuts are totally fine.

You can look at soy options as well. I'm not a vegetarian, but I use boca crumbles quite often instead of hamburger, soy curls on stir fry or 'bento', make home made black bean curry burgers, etc. It becomes another protein option.

In addition to the above, uncured baked ham, egg whites, veggie burgers (I love Amy's Texas Veggie Burgers!!). Low cal, low fat, high protein. Delish!
