I am new here and see that MFP want me to eat about 500-900 more calories a day, but I am afraid because I am not hungry and want to loose 50lbs this year. I have been exercising everyday since Monday when I started this site.

Any suggestions on "healthy calories" would be great!!!

Thanks

    Welcome-

This is a great service but remember, it is not a personalized service and because the computer program running this site tells you something like eat more calories, it might not be the best advice for you personally

check other sites....dont put all your eggs in one basket

    good luck

I wasn't eating enough either when I first started! There are some really good articles on starvation mode...there's a good post about 700 calories a day and not losing too. That should give some insight as to why you are not losing weight..

Try more calorie dense food (PB, nuts, etc) that give more calories but don't have a lot of sugar or fat! That will help you make your calories without feeling like you are eating EVERYTHING and stuffing yourself.

Hey I feel the same. But you have to remember that it is a generalised plan, so you might have different needs. I think if you see results and you're not starving yourself than stick to what you feel is right!
