new with 20 lbs to lose - want a leaner me!

Hi there! I have had the app on my phone for a while, but I need a little more accountability so I am going to frequent the forums
Details in my sig. Overall, I am pretty happy with my size, I just want to be stronger, more toned, more in shape (not feel winded chasing after my kiddos!) and lose the belly.
It seems my belly is where all my fat goes. I look at my mom and see that she has the same shape I am headed for and I want to do everything I can to break the cycle.
My weakness is pepsi and chocolate......:)

Welcome Ohiopugmom,
Abs starts in the kitchen. Eat healthy, drink water, do cardio and strength training. We can't spot reduce. Fat will come off where it wants to come off first.
Do core exercises to strengthen your core and do both strengthen and trimming ab workouts. Crunches, sit ups, basically floor abs workouts strengthen your abs. Do standing ab workouts that consists of twisting moves to trim the waist.

my weakness used to be pepsi and pasta... but i cut out pepsi for good abt a year ago, i only drink it occassionally... (when i have no choice), and i have cut down pasta, but not completely...0

Welcome! I've been trying to lose in my tummy for awhile too. I was a diet coke addict (at least 8 a day!!) I found an incredible tea that has given me my caffeine that I needed and it is only 5 cals and burns 100! One workout that I have found that helps with my tummy is Zumba! It's a fantastic workout and it's so much fun!! Good luck and if you need any help or support, message me!!
