I'm very keen to add friends of any gender/age/nationality so long as they are using myfitnesspal or fitbit for mutual support and encouragement -- either to draw encouragement or to offer some. I wear my fitbit all the time (for years) and find that I am among so many people who stick to goals knowing that others are in the same boat, even if we are not talking about it all the time.

Just got mine (black friday sales). All set up and I am wearing it daily, but so far I haven't synced to MFP.
I am debating whether I want to keep on keeping on the way I have been (logging exercise and eating back calories) which is working, or mess with syncing.
If anyone has an opinion, I am all ears. I got the fitbit mainly to just sort of motivate me to get walking and up and about more often. And I wear a watch anyway, so it is still my watch
I'm not sure if messing with the calorie calculations is worth the bother. 0 -
I just got my fitbit and I love it. It keeps me motivated and now everyday counts!
