I started my low carb eating 6 weeks ago and I feel amazing!
I love to eat "Powercrunch" protein bars for breakfast or for after a workout. Also, if you are craving bread, try sprouted grain breads. They have 7 carbs in a slice and tons of fiber, I think it's 4 net carbs.
I'm not going to lie, I miss pizza, but the results I've acheived by living low carb is the best thing ever!0 -
Oh glad to here that you are feeling good eating low carb... I think I will miss pizza too, but I did see a few recipes with egg or zucchini for the base. Yes not the same as having a normal base, but its a good low carb option.0

It is okay to have your a 20%/throw-away/carb day once in a blue moon. When I do, it is usually because of pizza (and because of drinking...low inhibition sucks.. ). Of course now my stomach absolutely hates me the next day and (like with drinking..) I tell myself "Never again!"0

I'm considering starting to use some of the low carb lifestyle to help with losing weight where i want it most..the belly..where do you get your information from? I don't want to do atkins..more south beach style or ww version of a low carb lifestyle they had a few years ago, don't know if that is still going.0

I normally just look on websites, Atkins have meal plans on there site so you can see if it's something that you could do.0

Check out Mark Sisson's 'The Primal Blueprint'. You can actually get everything from his website/blog. He just 'makes sense' and you will be amazed at how great you feel if you follow his dieting logic. It is basically eating natural like organic Plants and Animals and you stay away from packaged and processed carbs/grains/lentils/sugars; all around junk food. This type of lifestyle has changed my life.
