You can't take one clip of the show and form an opinion. As with all sitcoms you get to know the characters over time and that's why you start to like it.0 -

I love this show...although it's not quite as funny as it was in the beginning. The episode when Penny gave Sheldon the napkin with the "DNA of Leonard Nimoy" was pure comedy gold.0
