Trying to be hopeful. Two babies via csection in less than twoyears and bigger than I have ever been. I need to lose a small person. Looking for ideas and motivation from those attempting or that have been successful at such a daunting feat.

Welcome to MFP, Mindy! It really is do-able, you just have to start, and learn as you go :)

Liz posted a link to a post I wrote (thanks, Liz!) that can walk you through the basics. Best wishes!

I started this over the summer needing to lose roughly half of my body weight. So far I'm down 60 lb. It's "daunting" in that it's long, but it really doesn't need to be all that hard.

My only real method is planning all my meals the night before, then using a digital scale to weigh out the portions I selected so I stay on track with my meal plan. I did add exercise, but that's more for my fitness goals than for weight loss directly.
